Weekend Roundup: June 28th - June 30th

Happy Friday!  Here's a roundup of events happening this weekend in Brooklyn:

Friday, June 28th:
  • Ever wanted to hang out in an alley?  Well, your wish has come true, because tonight Downtown Brooklyn hosts the Grove Alley Nite Market.  There promises to be food trucks, vendors, and music.  Free (RSVP here).  Grove Alley (between Fulton and Livingston Streets), 5PM-11PM.
  • Catch Brooklyn Bridge Park's version of Shakespeare in the Park with its production of "Much Ado About Nothing."  This production is set in colonial Macau.  Free.  Granite Prospect, Brooklyn Bridge Park.  Performances are Friday to Sunday night at 7PM. 
  • Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Aurelio Martinez take the stage at the Prospect Park Bandshell tonight.  Free/$3 suggested donation.  Prospect Park Bandshell, 7:30PM. 
Saturday, June 29th:
  • Partake in an active {the play moves} production of "The Seagull" in Prospect Park, which continues until the 30th.  Free.  The Rustic Shelter by Lakeside, Prospect Park, 7PM
  • Hear the raps of Lil B at Music Hall of Williamsburg, with special guests Clams Casino and Keyboard Kid.  $20.  66 North 6th Street, 9PM.
Sunday, June 30th:
  • There's a Street Fair with a Caribbean Flair going on, and you know you want to check it out.  Free.  Flatbush Avenue between Parkside Avenue to Courtelyou Road, 12PM-6PM.
  • Watch The Hitchcock 9, a presentation of Hitchcock's surviving silent films, at BAM.  "The Lodger", which has been called "the first true Hitchcock movie", is being shown Sunday night.  $25.   BAM Harvey Theater, 651 Fulton Street, 7:30PM.
